Overview:

This course is aimed at all care staff who works in difficult and challenging situations. It aims to provide insight into effective ways of dealing with Crisis Intervention work and how to develop strategies that work in a crisis situation.

The course deals with the process and methods used to deal with behaviour that challenges and helps raise awareness about problem solving and personal safety.

• What is Crisis Intervention?

• Principles of crisis intervention and management

• Dealing with crisis and effective planning

• How to develop learning and coping skills

• Dealing with emotional responses

• Personal safety /risk

Costs:

This is a one day course costing £400 (no vat) and can be delivered to a maximum of 15 delegates.
