Overview

This course is designed for care staff and anyone involved in the care of vulnerable people. It aims to raise awareness and develop the delegate’s confidence in identifying and responding to Safeguarding issues. The training is in line with current legislation and will be delivered to meet the learning and development needs of the organisation and staff.

• Key principles of Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults

• Definitions of abuse and neglect

• The process of investigations following disclosure

• Dealing with a disclosure

• Role of the Alerter

• Understanding principles of “No Secrets"

• Role of Local Authority

Our courses are delivered by two experienced practitioners and are always at competitive rates.

This is a one day course costing £400 (no vat) and can be delivered to a maximum of 15 delegates.
