Learning Disability Awareness
Overview:
This course is aimed at care staff and anyone involved in supporting a person with a Learning Disability. Delegates will develop a better understanding of how to work effectively with someone who has a learning disability and to understand the effects of discrimination and poor practices.
The course looks at dual diagnosis (Learning Disability/Mental Health) and explores the issues that present and how to overcome these in practice.

Costs:
This is a one day course costing £400 (no vat) and can be delivered to a maximum of 15 delegates.
