Dignity and Respect in Social Care

Overview

This course is designed for care staff and others working in social care. The course aims to challenge attitudes and raise awareness around valuing people and treating them with dignity and respect at all times. It will enable delegates to understand the principles of good practice and how this can be achieved in their own workplace.

Course Content:

• Exploring Values and culture

• The effects of Labelling and stereotyping

• What is meant by dignity and respect

• The role of inspectors (CQC) (Offsted )

• Legislation and how to achieve good practice

• Understanding the principles of “No Secrets"

• Whistleblowing

Our courses are delivered by two experienced practitioners and are always at competitive rates.

This is a one day course costing £400 (no vat) and can be delivered to a maximum of 15 delegates.
